Position: Cleanroom Machine Operator
Type: Contract Opportunity - 1st Shift Available

Location: Sanford, ME

Shift & Pay

• 1st Shift: 6:40 AM - 3:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $18.75 - $19.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automatic assembly machines
• Perform quality checks on finished products according to technical specifications
• Identify and resolve minor equipment or process issues; collaborate with maintenance as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
• Report inefficiencies and participate in continuous improvement efforts

• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic
• Able to complete documentation accurately and legibly
• Prior manufacturing or cleanroom experience preferred but not required

Cleanroom Protocols

• Personal items (phones, keys, wallets, etc.) must be stored in provided lockers outside the cleanroom
• No dangling jewelry (bracelets, earrings, etc.)
• No eating, chewing gum, or wearing perfume/cologne inside the cleanroom
• All skin (except face) must be covered; long-sleeved lab coats, gloves, and hair/beard nets are provided
• Full-length pants or leggings/nylons are required if wearing capris; shorts are not permitted
• Shoe covers ("booties") must be worn at all times
• Adherence to strict personal hygiene and cleanliness standards is required
