• Maintain and manage TEA internal databases such as NEA 360 and Civis.
• Integrate and align data across platforms to ensure accuracy, security, and accessibility.
• Import, clean, verify, and reconcile educator/school district employment rosters.
• Manage bulk upload into the NEA 360 database.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and TEA’s internal protocols.
• Track and analyze membership trends, educator salary data, and employment shifts to uncover opportunities for growth and advocacy.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and outreach lists for staff, leaders, and local associations.
• Provide segmentation, modeling, and targeted lists to support policy influence and organizing campaigns.
• Train TEA staff, board members, and local leaders on practical use of organization databases (i.e. NGP VAN, NEA 360, Civis) and educational research.
• Create guides for training sessions to increase data confidence among users.
• Offer ongoing technical support to ensure data tools are applied effectively in advocacy and member organizing.
• Partner with organizing, advocacy, communications, and membership teams to ensure data-driven strategy.
• Translate technical findings into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
• Provide responsive support to staff and affiliates with urgent data and reporting needs.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong skills in Excel; ability to perform data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
• Minimum two years’ experience working with relational databases, CRMs, or campaign data platforms.
• Proven ability to produce data reports, summaries, or visualizations for strategic use.
• Experience working in a labor union, advocacy organization, or educational nonprofit.
• Understanding of Tennessee’s public education systems and policy environment.
• Prior experience designing and delivering training or professional development.
• Proficiency with NGP VAN and/or NEA 360, Salesforce or similar membership/advocacy tools.
• Strong communication and training skills with diverse users.
