Job Description

Join the team as a Lighting Designer at Spark Studio Lighting Design LLC , an award‑winning architectural lighting practice affiliated with HLW International LLP . Role Summary The Lighting Designer will develop and document lighting design concepts for corporate interiors, higher education, high‑rise residential, auto showrooms, and specialty projects. Key deliverables include concept sketches, client presentations, code compliance calculations, illuminance levels, fixture specifications, Revit lighting layouts, cost research, fixture schedules, submittal reviews, and onsite installation oversight. Responsibilities Develop lighting plans, details, and fixture specifications. Create presentation graphics, renderings, and image boards. Coordinate with architects, interiors, and other consultants. Attend design team and vendor meetings. Conduct site visits and review submittals. Assist in organizing resources and participating in firm initiatives. Represent Spark Studio at industry events and nurture client relationships. Qualifications Degree in Lighting Design or Architecture/Interiors with supplemental lighting training. 1–4 years of experience with a lighting design consultant group. Proficiency in Revit work‑sets, fixture families, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AGI32. Willingness to learn LightStanza, Rhino, and Enscape. Demonstrated design excellence, strong communication, and excellent presentation skills. Ability to collaborate, manage time, and work independently.
