We are seeking a candidate for a full-time role for a Backend Developer (Python/Django) . This role will run backend development projects and ensure the technical quality and delivery of solutions.

Qualifications

• Must reside in DMV area  and be in the Arlington, VA office at least 2 days a week
• Must be a US Citizen, and be willing and able to get a government clearance if needed
• 3+ years of experience developing REST APIs in Python with the Django framework
• 2+ years of experience interacting with relational databases (Postgres preferred)
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with AWS EKS and other AWS services considered an asset
• Solid proficiency developing secure, performant, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions and designs for complex requirements
• Strong understanding of software development principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must be self motivated with a desire to work in a fast paced environment with a talented team of professionals
