Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Painter to join our team in Spring Lake, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to deliver high-quality painted and powder-coated metal parts that meet precise customer standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Painter , your core responsibilities will include:
Applying powder coat and wet paint finishes: Ensure parts are coated evenly and meet all quality and durability standards.
Reading and interpreting work orders: Follow written procedures, part numbers, and operational instructions to complete each project accurately.
Inspecting finished products: Review completed parts to ensure coatings meet company and customer expectations.
In addition, you will also be expected to work closely with your team to maintain productivity, safety, and a clean work environment.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a powder coater or wet coat painter required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Ability to read and interpret written procedures, part numbers, and operational instructions
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
Skills:
Technical proficiency: Skilled in operating painting and coating equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality results.
Quality inspection: Able to identify defects and ensure finished products meet all required specifications.
Team collaboration: Work effectively with others to maintain smooth production flow and meet deadlines.
