Warehouse Parts Packer (Elkhart)

Grand Design RV is currently sourcing for a Warehouse Parts Packer to join our team. This position is responsible for packing picked orders into appropriate shipping materials so they can be shipped out.

Grand Design RV is looking for a Warehouse Parts Packer to add to our team. If you are organized, positive, and friendly with a follow-through mindset and possess the necessary skills for this role, we welcome you to begin your journey by applying today!

If you are interested in the Warehouse Parts Packer position you will:

1. Take pick tickets from carts and match parts with the part number on ticket along with quantity.
2. Select the appropriate method to package the parts with a minimum of 2 inches of packing.
3. Assemble the correct method of packaging for the product.
4. Pack, weight, and label items for shipment or storage.
5. Be able to hit the required packaging quota each day.
6. Follow company guidelines for proper packaging.
7. Load trucks with the packaged orders.
8. Work closely with processors and pullers.
9. Restock packing supplies.
10. Keep area clean.
11. Assist in plant inventory.
12. Overtime may be available or mandatory depending on workload.
13. Be a team player.
14. Be willing to help others or ask for help when needed.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to be forklift certified upon hiring
• Training will be provided for table saw, chop saw, pneumatic staple gun, cordless screw gun, etc.
• Work in a safe manner & promote safety in the workplace
• Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

• Able to bend, twist, push, and pull frequently
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to work at elevated heights
• Able to use staple gun
• Able to use cellophane gun
